It says everything about Trump that he lambasted our Prime Minister for his weakness in wanting to consult with his ‘team’ before responding to Trump’s demands. It made me think about my relationship with my own team and specifically the three women who have been at the helm of my company for over a decade – Kate, Louise and Roshni. This weekend I got upset about an event which I needed to discuss, and in a short conversation they presented a different perspective that significantly altered how I viewed the problem. How many times these three brilliant people have advised, amended and moulded the direction of the company to the benefit of everyone who has joined this thirty-four year old adventure. I founded the BSC, but the foundations rest heavily on the team that I rely on every day for their wisdom, dedication and drive. Yep, Mr Trump, I’m just another weak Brit.
