The Mighty Minack

Nothing we’ve done so far this year has prepared us for performing at the Minack, a theatre at the end of the country in Cornwall, on the edge of the Atlantic ocean. This is open air theatre at its most spectacular, with a stunning backdrop provided by nature. Amazingly for a week at the end of October, we’ve had sun throughout the run and the most wonderful audiences in a sell-out week. I always love it when you can walk to work in the morning and at lunchtime we have the theatre’s own specially made Cornish pasty which powers us through the second performance. Each week we keep getting blown away (sometimes literally) by the amazing venues around the country and the Minack is up there with the best. Thank you Rowena Cade for an inspired decision to build it in the garden back in 1932.
