My goodness it was bliss to be back inside a theatre again today. We’ve been performing Barmy Britain in all sorts of venues and having a ball, but nothing beats the inside of a theatre, where shows are meant to be performed! My fellow actor Morgan had never heard all the laughs that permeate the show; he’d never had a chance to throw something away or feel the intense silence created by the drama. It felt like we were doing a fabulous duet on skates, moving in and out of each other’s rhythm. And it’s all so easy when you’ve got used to doing it in gardens and car parks. I’m very excited to be back there tomorrow, having another chance to play with an audience in our little bubble of theatrical excitement.
