Sometimes a great company of actors and stage/sound/wardrobe come along which makes you feel utterly privileged to part of – and to our great good fortune we’ve had two come along at once! The gang we assembled for Horrible Christmas at Alexandra Palace was one of the best companies we’ve ever had – as much fun off stage as on it – and we’ve immediately embarked on a new adventure with a fantastic new company touring the UK with Terrible Tudors and Awful Egyptians. I’ve just had the joy of performing with them in one of the biggest theatres in the country to entertain two thousand people at Manchester Palace who could clearly tell we were having a ball. You always do your best to assemble a group of talented people but its only when they come together that you find out whether it’s going to be special. We’re all feeling very lucky to have kicked off 2025 with two such wonderful companies.
