The company came to prominence when Richard Dreyfuss came across the Atlantic to direct Hamlet at The Old Rep Theatre.
The cast included Russell Boulter (Hamlet) and George Irving (Claudius). This controversial production divided the critics but produced daily queues for tickets around the theatre.
