Reviews

"This is that rare gem of a family show that genuinely appeals to all ages from four years old upwards. If you think you know about Christmas, this show will make you think again!"
Manchester Theatre Awards
"What a fantastic show! Just the right mix of humour, facts about Christmas, singing and audience participation. Highly recommended if your kids like Horrible Histories or if you want to try an excellent alternative to the panto."
Netmums
"Sparkling entertainment delivered with style and professionalism by an eight-strong cast to satisfy audiences of all ages. What starts out as a light-hearted history class about festive traditions rapidly becomes an object lesson in how to stage a proper pantomime. A flash, bang, wallop of a production!"
British Theatre Guide
"An absolutely fantastic show and a great opportunity for our family to spend some fun time together at Christmas. I was howling with laughter at one point and our two girls, aged 6 and 4, loved it!"
Expression & Confession
"We all thoroughly enjoyed the entire show. I can’t think of many times when my nine year old has been quite so animated. Come to think of it, I don’t recall the last time I was either!"
That Lancashire Lass
"Energetic, hilarious entertainment, blending the ‘history’ aspect in so cleverly that you hardly notice that you’re learning while you laugh! The show is jampacked with brilliant, catchy tunes, hilarious jokes and lots of audience participation. I went with children aged between 7 and 12 and they loved it!"
Cambridge Edition
"Pacy, joyful and stuffed like a turkey with foul festive facts and fun. The acting is first-rate and the music is excellent. Another quality production from the BSC!"
Native Monster
"A celebration of Christmas unlike any you'll have seen before! A whistlestop tour through the history of Yuletide with great gags, visual comedy and a script that cleverly weaves fact with fun. The perfect show for all ages!"
Stratford Herald
"A mad rollercoaster of a production that has everything you need - a fabulous script packed with gags, slapstick, funny walks, singing contests and a race through festive history!"
